The Rifle Range is for MEMBERS & THEIR GUESTS ONLY!
All members are REQUIRED to display their membership card while at the range. You can get a lanyard at the clubhouse. Guests will still be allowed at the rifle range but with restrictions. Only 2 guests/member at a time, only 1 person in that group allowed to shoot at a time, and any specific guest can only come 3 times per year.
We do NOT allow .50 caliber rifles (.50 BMGs) at our range. Please remember to sight in any guns at a closer yardage and NEVER set anything at the top of the berm to shoot. Please keep targets low and off the posts. Use the backers only.
Please pay attention to the new rules and procedures. We are all doing our best to keep the range safe for everybody. Additional locks will be installed on the gates and will use the same combination as the range building. Combination is on your membership card.
If you wish to use our private rifle range please visit our clubhouse during shooting hours and get a membership application. New members must apply in person and complete a safety orientation. Applications by mail won’t be accepted. You must come in Saturday Afternoons at 2:00 or Tuesday Evenings (April through October) at 7:00, fill out the application, go through the orientation (about 30 minutes) and pay the dues. Once completed, you will will receive a temporary card and be voted in at the next general meeting and your card will be mailed to you.
*NOTE TO ALL RIFLE RANGE USERS*
The Rifle Range is CLOSED during normal open Trap and Skeet shooting hours - Tuesdays April through October from 5-9pm and Saturdays 12-5pm. It is also closed while any other special events are taking place (see event calendar). The range should be vacant during open Trap and Skeet hours, this is for the safety of all participants. If you are unsure of the schedule please stop in the clubhouse before you shoot.
All posted Rifle Range Safety requirements will be followed at all times by all users of the FRGC Rifle Range. FRGC assumes no responsibility for injuries caused by careless use of firearms on its rifle range.
Please remember to leave the range at least as good or better than you found it.
