Welcome to the Fennville Rod and Gun Club!
The Fennville Rod and Gun Club is a non-profit, all volunteer operated organization dedicated to the preservation of the great outdoors, and the ongoing promotion of all the shooting sports. FRGC is located in the heart of the beautiful Allegan State Game Area covering twenty acres. The facility includes three lighted trap ranges, two skeet fields, one lighted, and a covered rifle/pistol range with 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 meter berms. The Fennville Gun Club has a full service, air conditioned clubhouse. We have plenty of seating, and a cozy wood stove stoked full in the winter months to keep the shooters warm as the day`s stories are shared.
We would like to thank all of our members and shooters for another successful year!

These are the unapproved minutes of March's gun club meeting.
Pledge of Allegiance and Conservation Pledge
Will informed the membership of the passing of Board Member Bill Veldhoff. Bill was a very involved
board member and a regular trap and skeet shooter at the club, and will be sorely missed. The board
decided unanimously to offer Bill’s position on the Board to Bill’s wife Yvonne, who is also a member
who is always willing to help wherever needed, and has a great love for the club, it’s members and what
the club meant to Bill the last few years of his life.
Approval of Minutes: The Secretary’s report and the Treasurer’s report were read and approved.
Article 1: Fennville Rod and Gun Club T-shirts are in and will be available for purchase in the very
near future. Hats should also be available within the next week or so.
Article:2: The club has a new cell phone. The phone number is 269-941-3238. Thank you to Cindy
for taking care of getting the phone and getting it set up.
Article 3: Dominic is getting pricing together for putting a metal roof on the pole building. He will
also be putting a team of club volunteers together to do the work. Thanks, Dominick!
Article 4: The Monthly Fish fry will begin Friday, May 31. Jordan Dekker is still looking for kitchen
help for these. Please contact Jordan or a board member if you are able to help out.
Article 5: The combination for the rifle range gate will be changed this coming week. The new
combination is printed on your 2024 membership card.
Article 6: The Board has purchased a Ruger Mannlicher 10/22 rifle from Doug VanLente to be
used for one of the raffle prizes for this year’s Christmas Bash. The Board also decided
to change the way guns are raffled, and will now raffle each gun individually as opposed
to grouping them together and giving the winner choice. We will sell playing cards for
each gun raffle, and if not enough cards are sold to cover the cost of the gun, that raffle
will become a 50/50 raffle.
Article 7: New members: We approved 10 new members to the club this month. They are:
Michael Fiori, Steven R. Valkema, Timothy L. Sargent, Michael Moore, Donald Kraus,
James W. Slattery, Trevor TenHarmsel, Joshua A. Schumacher, Paul A. Maas
The meeting adjourned at 7:25PM
Next meeting Thursday April 11, 2024 at 7:00PM
